Stopping Violence Programme Facilitator Training
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people who have either experience, training (or a passion) in facilitating behaviour change programmes.
What will you get?
Stopping Violence Services' facilitator training is one of the only training opportunities in Christchurch that can provide Domestic Violence Act programme facilitator accreditation.
Training includes:
- Understanding power and control
- Co-gender facilitation
- Working with resistance
- Increasing safety an awarenss around violence and abuse
Dates and times:
The training runs once a week for 3 hours (on average) for 3 months. The proposed start date is Tuesday the 1st July 2004. In the evening from 6.30pm - 9.30pm, including one full Saturday following the first session.
