Broken family
Family intact

Has anyone said to you, or someone close to you, "You've got an anger problem"? Have you said this yourself to a man or woman close to you? Have you said it to yourself? Would someone say it to you if they weren't too scared about the consequences?

If any of these scenarios seem familiar then we have got the course for you or for the person that you care about. Our programmes are designed to meet individual needs.

Since 1984, SVS has been working in the community to stop all types of violence. All of our clinicians come from a background in social work, counselling, education, psychology, or related disciplines, and belong to a professional organisation.

NEW:  We are currently looking for applicants for our Stopping Violence Programme Facilitator Training. Applications close 28th May 2004. Read details . . .

This website provides background information about SVS, its history and goals. It also sets out the current service programmes that SVS offers to the community.

Upcoming and recent news and events of interest to professionals and other community members are reported here, and we have a variety of resource material for professionals and people seeking help, including referral packages and a range of pamphlets and posters.
